We're almost there, it's nearly Half-term!  ☀️

With the end of year fast approaching, recovery learning is a high priority for KS2 pupils. No need to worry though, the SATs Companion team has been busy together working on new updates & putting together new resources to help you boost pupil attainment in Reading ✔️.

📚New formative reading tasks📚

Pupils can access our new Marcus Rashford & Ada Lovelace reading skills texts, for homework or general practice. For more structured practice, our Malala Yousafzai text is only available for teachers to assign. 

For pupils, reading texts are easily accessible under Practice> English> Reading. For individual, group or class assignments:

1.  Enter set formative task area
2. Choose your selected reading material
3. Assign to a pupil, group or class

Our Reading, Maths and GPS content is a great way to boost pupil confidence, fill in gaps and build key skills.

Last thing, new reading skills video lessons are accessible for KS2 pupils, perfect for supporting learning alongside our new reading texts.

To access, all pupils need to do is click on Lessons, scroll down to Reading Skills, and get learning!
